Seta B. Dadoyan

Professor Seta B. Dadoyan (née Satenik Barsoumian) is a prominent Armenian scholar. A philosopher, historian, also a painter, she specializes in medieval and modern Armenian political and intellectual cultures in their interactive aspects in the Near Eastern world. She has taught over three decades in several universities in Beirut, the USA and Armenia, and authored sixteen volumes and over a hundred and fifty scholarly, reference and literary articles. She is the recipient of three major awards in Armenian Studies.
